My Help Comes From God

Quote of the Day – “I will lift my eyes unto the hills from whence cometh my help. My help comes from the Lord.” – King David – Psalms 121:1

My help comes from the Lord. I can do nothing on my own power. I need and covet the help of the Lord God. The God I am talking about is Jesus. I make no apology for my belief, faith, and trust in the Jesus.

He is my helper and my motivator. He motivates me to accomplish my goals. His love for me expressed in His death on the cross and the fact He was raised from the dead motivates me to excellence.

When I feel down I look to the hills in the video below. The hills around Cambria are spectacular. In the summer they are a deep golden brown and after the rains of winter they turn a kelly/emerald green.

When I need motivation from the Lord I look towards the hills and picture Jesus standing in the hills. I will lift my eyes unto the hills from whence cometh my help. This verses of scripture means a lot to me.

During the really hard days of my life I can remember looking out repeating this verse over and over. My help comes form the Lord.

You need morning motivation today? Here is some motivation… God loves you and He wants to bless you beyond your understanding. He loves you with a love beyond understanding. Hey, that motives me and I hope it helps to motivate you today.

I remember a time when I attempted to control my life. I didn’t think I needed any help from anyone but I was wrong. I had the bull by the horns and life was going to do what I wanted it to do or else. Again, I was wrong. It seemed everything I touched turned to dust. I was thinking of a different four letter word but I thought I better use the word dust.

Honestly, in an attempt to run my life I ended up ruining my life. Finally after years of thinking I could handle life I turned to the God of my childhood. I turned to the God of the bible. I can’t say I instantly changed because I am still changing. I am still learning to look unto the hills from whence comes my help. However I can say life is much better today than it was before I returned to God.

I suggest you give God a try. He worked for me and I believe if you give Him a chance He can and will work for you. Hey, God bless you.
